Mia Mendi, TH;EN, and Blake Light join forces on new track ‘Lights Don’t Lie’.

Electronic duo Mia Mendi collaborates with TH;EN and Blake Light on the track Lights Don’t Lie’, released on April 17th through Insomniac’s Interstellar Recordings. Mia Mendi continues to prove their prominence in the electronic music scene with new tracks such as ‘Fade Away’ another collaboration with TH;EN – which quickly rose to the top of Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno charts, holding the number one spot for two weeks. Mia Mendi’s productions have garnered recognition from industry heavyweights like Tiësto, Tale of Us, Dom Dolla, and Swedish House Mafia. Additionally, her music has been included in popular Spotify Editorial playlists such as Electronic Rising, Beats to Think To, and Open Air.

‘Lights Don’t Lie’ plays out less like a typical techno track and more like a manifesto about the highs and lows of fast-paced nightlife. As a trio, Mia Mendi, TH;EN, and Blake Light’s production sits at the core of the track, with a brooding bassline and thumping kick drum progressing the track through its intricate arrangement. ‘Lights Don’s Lie’ is sure to strike a chord with fans of Anyma, Adriatique, and Massano.

Speaking on the release, Mia Mendi shares, ‘Lights Don’t Lie’came together naturally after we built strong creative chemistry with both TH;ENand Blake Light over the past year. It’s the first time the three of us have collaborated on a single record, and it felt like the right moment to bring our worlds together. We wanted to create something that hits on a mainstage level but still carries an emotional core – that moment in the breakdown where the vocal really locks you in, and then everything lifts. It’s a special one for us.
