Today is the arrival of After The Rain, the second studio outing from Stockholm-based melodic house artist Klur (Patrik Kindvall), out now on Colorize. This release refines his style within the melodic house genre, known for its focus on lush, emotive melodies, harmonic layers, and danceable beats often rooted in progressive and deep house traditions. Since breaking through with 2022’s Visions, Klur has built a reputation for weaving organic sounds with electronic synths, hitting over 100 million streams on Spotify and landing in STIM’s list of Sweden’s top 100 quickest-climbing songwriters.
Preview singles from the album demonstrate Klur‘s skill in balancing atmosphere and rhythm. ‘Sequoia’ stands out with its use of nature samples, bright synth arrangements, and psychedelic edges for an engaging listen. The collab ‘Impossible’ with singer LeyeT from LA adds vocal warmth over expansive backdrops and subtle beats. Partnering again with BJOERN on ‘Unbound’, the track delivers heightened sentiment via evolving structures and polished production. Finally, ‘After The Rain’ with composer Ole-Bjørn Talstad blends piano-driven ambiance with house grooves, pointing to Klur‘s expanding sonic range.
Klur revealed: “This album feels like a natural continuation of Visions, but also a leap forward. Each track represents a piece of a journey—personal and sonic. ‘After the Rain’ for me brings that feeling of starting fresh, finding new inspiration in both new and old ideas and just letting the music guide me somewhere raw and real.”
On the horizon, Klur gears up for a 2026 North American run, with tour info dropping later this year.
